On March 18, 2025, Adam said adieu to this world.  A lifelong resident of Chicopee, Adam was born on August 16, 1986, his grandfather Paul Roy’s 50th birthday.  First grandchild on your 50th birthday – Adam was the best present ever!

Adam was a car and motorcycle lover from an early age and, at the age of 14, bought and restored his first car, a 1974 Buick Apollo, which is still in his garage.  He was also a gearhead, always having a project planned for one of his vehicles.  He would often explain all these projects to Sherry while she marveled at his ability to know so much about every type of vehicle.  Adam enjoyed driving his vehicles, virtual reality with his parents and brother, and video games, wrestling, & movies with his brother.

Adam is survived by his longtime girlfriend and soulmate Sherry Roux, beloved cats Apollo and Lola, parents Guy & Donna Roy, brother Joshua Roy, Sherry’s parents John & Ann Roux, Sherry’s brother and family Luc, Katie, Luc Jr., Zach, Grace & Abel Roux, grandmother Sandra Walz, aunts and uncles Lisa Roy, Greg Roy, John & Cheryl Ciaschini, Peter & Grace Gaunya, and Stacey Roy, cousins Amber Roy, Luke Mozdzanowski, Heidi Read, Abbie Roy, Kyle Roy, Allison Roy, Emily Ciaschini, and David Ciaschini.  Adam is predeceased by his grandparents Paul Roy and Alan & Barbara Gaouette and his great grandmothers Germaine Roy and Cecilia Dort.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 11am – 1pm at Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home, 61 Grape Street, Chicopee.  Casual attire preferred.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an animal shelter of your choice.  Burial will be private and at a later date.
