Adella F. (Pasterczyk) Boratis, 97, of Chicopee, died on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Care One at Redstone in East Longmeadow. She was born on December 25, 1921 in Holyoke and was the daughter of the late Jan and Franciszka (Hejnar) Pasterczyk. Adella was a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus. She was an accountant at Savage Arms and retired in 1983 from the City of Chicopee as an assistant Registrar of Voters. Adella enjoyed vacationing and traveling with lifelong friends, Stacia & Max Stadnicki. Besides her parents, she is pre-deceased by her husband, Henry J. Boratis, who died on April 4, 2003 and her three brothers, Henry, Leo and Walter Pasterczyk. She is survived by her son, Henry J. Boratis, Jr. of Chicopee and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Adella’s family would like to thank all the loving and caring staff at Life Care of Wilbraham while she was there. A calling hour will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 8:30 to 9:30 am at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee Falls followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in the Basilica of St. Stanislaus at 10 am.
