Alice C. (Michalski) Guzik, 97, of Chicopee, died on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Mt. Marie Care Center in Holyoke. She was a retired cafeteria worker for the Chicopee School System. Alice was born on November 3, 1922 in Willimantic, CT. She was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Poremba) Michalski. Alice was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church. She is predeceased by her husband, Louis “Benny” Guzik, who died in 1985; two brothers, Edwin and Walter Michalski and a sister, Irene Erikson. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins and her beloved dog, Brandy. Alice’s family would like to thank the staff at Mt. Marie Care Center and Ascend Rehabilitation and Hospice for their care and kindness. A private service was held. Her burial was in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
