SPRINGFIELD          Andrew Z. Jendrysik, 77, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Agawam West Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.  He was born on July 3, 1949 in Chicopee and was the son of the late Andrew and Cecelia “Lena” (Duda) Jendrysik.  Drew was a retired Service Coordinator for the Department of Developmental Services at Monson State & Belchertown State Hospitals.  Drew also taught history.  He loved going to the beach, shopping and drinking hot coffee.  Drew is survived by a nephew, Robert Price of Holyoke and many cousins. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Kathleen Price.  The family would like to thank the Oncology Staff at Baystate Medical Center for the exceptional care given to Drew. Calling hours are on Saturday, August 15th from 10 am to 12 noon at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 61 Grape St. in Chicopee with a service at the funeral home at 11:30 am.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Thomas J.
