Anne T. (Ormston) Gagnon, 85, of Chicopee, died at home peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.  For three years, Anne fought a courageous battle with Leukemia and congestive heart failure.  Anne was born on August 1, 1932 in Fall River.  She was the daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (McLaughlin) Ormston.  She was a customer service representative for the Holyoke News Company and a communicant of St. Rose de Lima Church.  She is survived by her loving husband of sixty-four years, Edward C. Gagnon and her four daughters, Deborah Moreau and her husband Dana of Rome, NY; Donna Kenneson and her husband, Robert of Belchertown; Susan Overson of Chicopee and Lisa Gadoury of Chicopee.  She leaves the loves of her life, her eight grandchildren; Dana James Moreau and his wife, Melisa; Douglas Moreau and his wife, Zina; Kimberly Morrissette and her husband, Christopher; Katie Sue Kenneson and her fiancé, Scott Evans; Matthew Kenneson and his wife, Amanda; Michael Overson and his wife, Kelly Lincoln; Melissa McLaren and her husband, Tim; and Lindsay Overson and her significant other, Kevin McMahon and her eleven great grandchildren, James, Madison, MacKenzie, Noah, Aaliyah, Callah, Caleb, Matthew, Lyla, Nola, and Josie Anne.  Anne will also be missed by her best friend, Helena Tadeo and her dog, Minnie.  She is pre-deceased by her son-in-law, James Gadoury.  Anne was truly the family matriarch; her family was the light of her life.  She loved going on outings with her daughters, and never missed any of her grandchildren’s events.  Anne enjoyed bowling, going to Saratoga and the Cape and was an avid Red Sox fan.  The family would like to thank, Beth Halla and Joanne Costello at the D’Amour Center for their care and compassion; a special thanks to Anne’s team of doctors, Dr. Syed Ali, Dr. Gregory Valania and Dr. Evan Lau. They would also like to thank Baystate Hospice especially, Diane Borek and Maddie Beaupre with Visiting Angels.  Anne’s funeral will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 8 am at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St., in Chicopee Falls, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 am at St. Rose de Lima Church on 600 Grattan St. in Chicopee. Burial will be in the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1390 Main St. Agawam at 11.  Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Baystate Home Care and Hospice, 50 Maple St., Springfield, MA 01103.
