Anne T. (Mamicki) Jurkowsky, 98, of Springfield, died on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Mount Saint Vincent Nursing Care Center in Holyoke. Anne retired in 1972, as a bookkeeper for Frank Paper Co. in Springfield after twenty one years of service. Anne was born on June 21, 1919 in Chicopee and moved to Springfield in 1942. She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Josephine (Pietras) Mamicki. Anne attended Chicopee High School, Goef School of Business, presently Bay Path University. She was a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr, a member of the Holy Rosary Society and was a Pierogi maker at the church for many years. She was also a member of the ZNP Group 2570, the Polish National Alliance, Group 2570 and Group 422 and the AARP. Anne is survived by her son, Thomas Jurkowsky and his wife, Sally, of Annapolis, Maryland; a brother, Frederick Mamicki of Chicopee and two grandchildren, Sara Jurkowsky and her husband, Gary Masoud of Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Cameron Jurkowsky of Leesburg, VA. She is predeceased by a brother, Walter and three sisters, Stella Kowal, Alice Zywna and Lena Lak. Anne’s funeral will be on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 61 Grape St. on Chicopee Center at 8:30 am followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in the Basilica of St. Stanislaus at 9:30 am. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Calling hours are on Friday from 5 to 7 pm.
