Beverly Ann Konieczny 79 of Chicopee, MA died on November 22, 2022 after period of declining health. She was born in on January 26, 1943, the daughter of Rudolph A. Konieczny Sr. and Jennie ( Iwanicki ) Konieczny. Beverly attended public schools in Chicopee, graduating from Chicopee High School in 1960. Upon graduating she attended the University of Massachusetts School of Nursing in Amherst. She later graduated from the Boston Children’s Hospital School of Nursing earning her diploma and license as a registered nurse in pediatrics.

Beverly spent most of her career working in Pediatric Neonatal Intensive Care units in several different hospitals. For over 25 years she was employed by Baystate Medical Center. Prior to that she worked at Miami General Hospital and Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Hartford Hospital in Hartford Ct.

Beverly enjoyed Summer vacations in Maine and on Cape Cod with her family. She also enjoyed hosting pool parties at home with her family and friends. She loved to travel and throughout her life visited many cities and scenic places. She was an avid reader, music lover and enjoyed performing arts, especially musicals. She enjoyed getting together for lunch or dinner with her close friends and visiting with lifelong friends Tina and Mary Kate who were twins she had known since caring for them at birth.

Beverly leaves her brother Rudolph A. Konieczny Jr., his wife Mary Konieczny and daughters Megan and Mary Konieczny. She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers Anthony John and Michael Konieczny. She also leaves a number of loving family members and close friends who will miss her very much.

Beverly was a communicant of St. Anne’s Parish, Chicopee, MA. A private graveside service is planned by the family with burial to occur at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Chicopee. Donations in Beverly’s memory may be sent to Boston Children’s Hospital.
