Carol A. (Grabias) Manning, 78, of Chicopee, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was a secretary for the City of Chicopee Mayor’s office and the Town of Granby School System. Carol was born on February 1, 1943 in Springfield and was the daughter of the late Edward and Alice (Maczka) Grabias. She was a graduate of Cathedral High School. Carol enjoyed watching the New England Patriots. She is survived by her two sons, Brian Manning and his wife, Kasia of Chicopee and Joseph Manning of Leominster and two grandchildren Sebastian Manning and Nicholas Delair. An hour of visitation for Carol will be on Saturday, October 23rd from 9 to 10 am with a service at 10 am at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 61 Grape St. in Chicopee Center. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Springfield. Due to Covid 19, please wear masks and practice socialing distancing.
