Carol M. (Bailey) Stafford, 78, of Springfield, died on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at home. She was born on May 9, 1939 in Worcester, MA and was the daughter of the late Maurice and Edna (Parmenter) Bailey. She was an office clerk for the Suburban Gas Co. in Clearwater, FL. Carol was a Christian lady, loving mother, hard worker, avid quilt maker and animal lover. She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas Stafford, who died in 1996, a brother, Clarence Bailey and a sister, Eleanor Bailey. She is survived by her children, Donna Cochrane of Springfield, Dianne LeDoux of West Springfield, Daniel LeDoux of St. Petersburg, FL, David LeDoux of Keyser, WV, Deborah Torres of Springfield, Donald LeDoux of Keyser, WV and Beverly Tyre-Flanagan of Danvers, MA; a brother Warren Bailey of Sanford, ME, two sisters, Ruth Gelina of Marlboro, MA and Cynthia Bradley of Epsom, NH. She also leaves her twelve grandchildren, Jason, Joshua, Justin, Amber, Austin, Christopher, Andrew, Brandon, Joshua, Zain, Fran and Carl and seven great grandchildren, Skylaer, Cassidy, Millie, Conor, Ezra, Eli and Simon. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, March 28th at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 61 Grape St. in Chicopee Center from 4 to 7 pm. A funeral home service will be held at 6 pm on Wednesday evening.
