Celeste M. Maynard passed away at Holyoke Medical Center on Saturday, January 28th, 2023.  Celeste grew up in Florence, Mass.  She loved being at her grandparents’ farm growing up and would tell stories of her time spent there.  Celeste worked for the VA Hospital in Leeds as a cook for many years.  She was a fabulous home cook as well and made the most delicious golumpki.  After leaving the VA Hospital she moved to Chicopee to be closer to her sons.  Celeste spent most of her days talking and laughing with her dear friends at Falls View apartments.  During the summer months she enjoyed visiting her beloved hilltowns with her family; stopping at all of her favorite farm stands along the way.  She is survived by her sons Michael Maynard and his wife Joanne of Chicopee, Jonathan Maynard and his wife Barbara of Wilbraham, granddaughter Gabriella and her all of friends at Falls View Apartments.  All of Celeste’s services will be private.
