Cynthia Yergeau passed away peacefully November 3 surrounded by loved ones, after valiantly battling cancer for 17 years. Born September 22, 1952, she was a lifelong resident of Chicopee. A graduate of Elms College and a student of things magical and fantastical, she was predeceased by her husband Donald Yergeau and is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Yergeau. Cynthia was a faithful friend, doting mother & aunt, and lover of all creatures, earthly and otherworldly. She enjoyed warm spring days, quirky places, whimsical antiques and spending time with her friends and family. Visiting hours will be Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home, 69 East St, Chicopee from 9:30 to 11:30, with a prayer service at Noon at St, Stanislaus Cemetery, Chicopee. Memorial donations may be made to Furry Friends Foster and Rescue in Monroe, CT.
