Daniel E. Rainville, 58, of Chicopee MA passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024 at home. Born on February 8, 1966 in Ludlow MA, he was the son of the late Robert E. and Jean (Trela) Rainville. He grew up in Chicopee and graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School. Daniel played baseball in his younger years (Tigers) , loved the Red Socks, fishing, gardening, taught himself how to play the steel guitar, boating, and especially loved to cook. Daniel had many jobs including driving a limo for several companies, landscaping, general contractor, maintenance, truck driver for durable medical equipment and lastly for Gendara of Chicopee as a Correction Officer. Daniel is survived by his two sisters, Linda Costa of Chicopee and Jacklyn Smith and husband Stephen Krulish of Swanzey, NH. Daniel will be greatly missed by family and friends.
