CHICOPEE       David F. Zajchowski, 79, of Chicopee, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Holyoke Medical Center.  He was born on February 24, 1947 in Chicopee and was the son of the late Theodore J. and Anna M. (Bulecza) Zajchowski.  David was predeceased by his sister, Theodora J. Galica. David worked as a teacher and then as an IT professional. He is survived by his long-time partner, Christine Zalucki of Wilbraham, and a nephew, Gary E. Galica of Medford.  A service will be Wednesday, April 8th at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 61 Grape St. in Chicopee at 5 pm.
