Denise M. (Gauthier) Bourdeau, 73, of Agawam, died on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She worked at HP Hood in Agawam as an office manager for forty-seven years. Denise was born on August 14, 1945 in St. Helen’s Island, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of the late Aime and Rita (Gagne) Gauthier. Denise is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, Richard Bourdeau; daughter, Danielle Desormier and her husband, Jeffrey of Chicopee and step-daughter, Wendy Tetrault and her husband Joseph of Stafford Springs, CT and a step-son, Richard Bourdeau, Jr. of Florida, two grandchildren, Benjamin Tetrault and Heather Tetrault and a brother, Gerard Gauthier of Westfield. She is predeceased by her brother, Roger A. Gauthier. Calling hours are on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 4 to 7 pm at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home, 69 East St. in Chicopee Falls. There will be a private family burial for Denise on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 9 am at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home.
