SPRINGFIELD          Dolores A. Costello, 82, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at home.  She was born on July 19, 1943 in Springfield and was the daughter of the late Michael T. Costello, Sr. and Ann M. (Zbylot) Costello.  Dolores was a unit secretary at Baystate Medical Center.  Besides her parents, Dolores is predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Labroad.  She is survived by her son, Richard Doty and his wife Lynn, of Springfield; her son-in-law, David Labroad of Springfield; a brother, Michael T. Costello, Jr. of Pittsburg, PA; sisters, Catherine Burgess of Norwood and Gloria Costello-Noffke of Brookfield and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours for Dolores are on Monday, January 19^th at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee from 4 to 7 pm. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 20^th,  10 am at the funeral home, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at Mary, Mother of Hope Church, 840 Page Blvd in Springfield at 11 am. Her burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Springfield.
