Dolores J. (Stachowicz) Krupczak, 91, of North Charleston, SC, passed away peacefully at home on July 26, 2025. She was born on April 16, 1934 in Chicopee and was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Jendrysik) Stachowicz. Dolores was a graduate of Chicopee High School and AIC.  She started her career as an accountant, worked at Conway Bedding, was the co-owner of KMCI Sleep Products and was a salesclerk at J.C. Penny.  Dolores was a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus and a member of the Rosary Society and St. Vincent de Paul Society.  She was also a member of the Polish Junior League, Chicopee Historical Society and the Red Hatters.  Dolores also volunteered at the Chicopee Senior Center. She was an avid Red Sox Fan and loved to read and to do the Daily Crossword puzzles. In 2018, Dolores moved to South Carolina to live with her son, Stephen and daughter-in-law, Eileen. There she enjoyed making new friends and participating in the many events at the clubhouse, including Friday Night Happy Hour. She was missed by the Elms Community and by Oliver and Simon, the family cats. Dolores is predeceased by her husband of forty-nine years, John J. Krupczak, Sr. who died in 2006, her daughter, Elizabeth Krzeminski and her brother, John Stachowicz, Jr. She is survived by her sons, John Krupczak, Jr. and his wife, Catherine of Holland MI, Stephen and his wife, Eileen of N. Charleston, SC and daughter, Deborah Keane and her husband, Kevin of Warwick, NY  8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, a niece and nephew and many cousins. A special thank you to the staff at Agape Care and friends Jim, Norma and Margo for their wonderful care and compassion. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 61 Grape St. in Chicopee from 9 to 10:30 am.  A Liturgy of Christian Burial will follow at the Basilica of St. Stanislaus, 566 Front St. in Chicopee at 11 am.  Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
