Donald R. Johnson, 79, of Springfield, passed on Friday, May 17, 2024 at home.  He was born on November 2, 1944 and was the son of the late Allen D. and Corinne A. (Johnson) Alicandri. Donald was a tool and die maker at Moore Drop Forge and a member of the Teamsters, Local 404. He also worked at the American Bosch and at the Home Depot. He enjoyed following the New England sports teams, college football and horse racing. Donald is survived by 4 children and 4 grandchildren.  Donald’s burial will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 9 am at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Chicopee.
