Elaine H. (Orszak) Jamison, 83, of Chicopee, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield.  She was born on July 7, 1941 in Chicopee and was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Helen B. (Filar) Orszak.  She was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School.  Elaine was a former communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Chicopee and now a communicant of Mary, Mother of Hope Church.  She worked at Valley Bank and was also a sample room manager at the former Facemate Corp.  She was a member of the Chicopee Senior Center and Chicopee Women’s Club.  Elaine is predeceased by her husband, Robert G. Jamison, Sr. and her son, Thomas Jamison.  She is survived by her two sons, Robert Jamison, Jr. of Chicopee and Matthew Jamison of Boston; two brothers, Thomas Orszak and his wife, Callie of South Hadley and Walter Orszak and his wife, Karen of Sterling, NY; a nephew, Adam Orszak and his wife, Ami of Belchertown; nieces, Alena Meacham and her husband, Jarrett of Chaplin, CT and Karla Lagoe and her husband, Michael of Sterling, NY; sisters-in-law, Patricia Kubinski of NJ and Charlotte Jamison of FL and their families; longtime friends: Patricia Swords of East Longmeadow, Joyce Clapsadle of Waterford, CT and her son, Thomas Clapsadle and his wife, Bobbett, Kristine Wailgum and her husband, Howie of South Hadley.  All services for Elaine will be private.
