Elizabeth “Lisa” L. (Walas) Forster, 62, of Chicopee, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023 in her home surrounded by loved ones.  Lisa was the daughter of the late Edward S. and Beverly T. (Weyant) Walas.  She was a graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School, class of 1979. Lisa was a retired dispatcher for several trucking companies during her lifetime. She was an avid lover of animals including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters. She was an accomplished English horse rider, and her greatest joys were family and Christmas. She is survived by her husband, Robert B. Forster; her son, John Forster of Chicopee and her sister, Nancy Bannister and her husband, Jerry Bannister of Greenfield.  Calling hours are on Friday, December 1, 2023 at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee Falls, from 2 to 4 pm.  Burial will be private at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
