Fannie J. “Frances” (Simonoko) Misialek, 102, passed away on September 21, 2022.  Born in Enfield, CT on May 11, 1920 to the late Stephen and Fannie (Rolla) Simonoko, she grew up on the family tobacco farm. Frances was a graduate of Enfield High School. She worked at Pratt and Whitney during WWII and was a bookkeeper at Bigelow Sanford, Schermerhorn Box Co. and General Instrument.  Frances moved to Chicopee in 1951. She was predeceased in 2000 by her husband of 50 years, Frank C. “Skip” Misialek. Frances was drawn to nature and wildlife.  She enjoyed planting and watching things grow, was a great cook and always made all our family traditions and holidays extra special. Frances loved to dance the Polka.  We are so grateful to have had such a wonderful mother, strong, loving, giving and always there for us.  Frances leaves behind her two daughters; Nancy Misialek, who always thought of her mother as her best friend and was her devoted caregiver with whom she lived; and her loving daughter, Diane Watson and her husband, Frederick,  all of West Springfield; her granddaughter, Amy Watson of Holyoke; her grandson, Damian of Florence and his two children, Elliott and Ruthie.  Frances is survived by her brother, Stanley and his wife, Ann of New York. She is predeceased by her siblings, John, Francis, Rose and Mary.  She also leaves behind many nephews, nieces and extended family.  A private graveside service was held at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
