Glen W. Dudek, 53, of Chicopee, died on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield.  He was a real estate broker for Real Living. Glen was born on January 14, 1962 in Holyoke.  He was the son of Sandra (Smith) Dudek and the late Chester Dudek, who died in 2000.  Glen was a Chicopee High School graduate and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Western New England University.

Besides his mother, Sandra, of Chicopee, he is survived by an aunt and uncle and his Godparents, Cynthia and Francis Sayre, of Granville and his former wife, Kimberly.  Glen was loved and will be greatly missed. It’s a sad, sad, world.

Family and friends can meet on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 10 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church for a Liturgy of Christian Burial. Glen’s burial will take place at a later date. Calling hours are on Wednesday at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee Falls, from 3 to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center, 627 Cottage St., Springfield, MA 01104 or to the charity of one’s choice.
