Henrietta A. (Klaus) Wegrzyn, 96, of Chicopee, formerly of Ludlow and Virginia, died on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Willimansett Center West in Chicopee. Henrietta was born on August 23, 1921 in Chicopee and was the daughter of the late Michael and Karoline (Murdza) Klaus. She was an inspector for A. G. Spalding Co. and worked at the Big Y at the Chicopee BJ’s Plaza for many years. She is predeceased by her husband, Fred Wegrzyn, who died in 1968, brothers, Edward Klaus and Walter Klaus and sisters, Stella Picard, Wanda Keating and Michalda Lenart. She is survived by a brother, Theodore Klaus and his wife, Shirley of Chicopee and several nieces and nephews. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held in the Basilica of St. Stanislaus at a later date. There are no calling hours.
