Irene A. Pezda, 82, of Chicopee, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.  She was born on February 24, 1943 in Chicopee and was the daughter of the late Alfred P. and Pauline (Szady) Pezda.  Irene was a 1960 graduate of Chicopee High School. She was an Accounts Payable clerk at Danaher Tool Co. Besides her parents, Irene is predeceased by a brother, Thomas Pezda.  She is survived by her brother Stephen Pezda and his wife Donna of Ann Arbor, Michigan; a close cousin, Sharon Szady of Chicopee, nephews, David Pezda and Greg Pezda; great nephews, James and Andrew and good friends, Jorge and Maribel Colon of Chicopee. A private burial will be held at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
