James H. Lea, 59, of Chicopee, formerally of Westfield, died on Monday, April 26, 2021 at home. He was a machine adjuster for the former Old Colony Envelope Co. James was born on January 30, 1962 in Springfield and was the son of the late William and May (Smith) Lea. He is survived by his loving partner, Pamela Kaniecki of Chicopee, his brother, William J. Lea, Jr. and his wife, Janice of West Springfield, his sister, Georgiana Lea of Chicopee, three nieces, Michelle Dedon, Shannon Lea and Jacqueline Lea. James is predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Lea and a nephew, William James Lea, III. “Butterflies are free to fly Fly away Bye bye” (Elton John). Calling hours are on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 4 to 6 pm at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee Falls.
