Joanne Bielski, 62, of Chicopee, died on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at home. She was born on September 10, 1955 in Springfield and was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Koziol) Bielski. Joanne is survived by her longtime caregiver, Pauline Dutilly of Chicopee; her cousin and guardian, Stephen Koziol, Jr. of Florida; a step-sister-in-law, Carol Skutnik of Tolland, CT and many other cousins. She loved music and playing the organ and enjoyed going out to eat. Joanne’s funeral will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 61 Grape St. in Chicopee at 10:30 am, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in the Basilica of St. Stanislaus at 11:30 am. Calling hours are on Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 am before the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pathlight/Darren FUNd, 220 Brookdale Dr. Springfield, MA 01104.
