John E Jasmin Jr, 58, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025. Born in Springfield, MA he was the one and only beloved son of the late John E Jasmin Sr. and Theresa (Belanger) Jasmin. A lifelong resident of Chicopee, John was known for his warm heart, endless generosity, unapologetic mindset, and ability to bring laughter and pieces of wisdom to everyone around him. John’s love for animals was evident in the way he cared for his cherished pets, Charlie and Roxy. A devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers, he enjoyed cheering on his team as much as he enjoyed lending a hand to family and friends – he was the person you could always count on. Known for his knack for fixing anything and his unforgettable firework displays, John will be remembered as a man of many talents and an even greater capacity for kindness. He leaves behind his only sister, Diane Martin, and her partner, Neil Cote. He was survived by his partner, Pamela Cayo and his dear Aunt Pauline, whom he cared for with great dedication over the past decade. John also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, who will treasure the memories they shared, as well as countless lifelong friends who were truly like family to him. His caring spirit, carefree attitude, and unwavering bonds will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.  Calling hours for John will be Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St in Chicopee from 1 to 3pm.
