John S. Taliceo, 79, of Brattleboro, VT, died on Friday, July 10, 2015 at home. He was a retired machine mechanic for the Pepsi Corp. in CT.  John was born on June 7, 1936 in Plattsburg, NY.   He was the son of the late Peter and Viola (Provost) Taliceo.  John was a communicant of St. Michael’s Church in Brattleboro.  He is survived by his wife, Carol (Jarosz) Fontaine Taliceo of Brattleboro; two sons, John S. Taliceo, Jr. of Shrewsbury and Mark A. Taliceo of Chicopee; two daughters, Tina M. Taliceo of Chicopee and Rebecca Taliceo of CT; two brothers; three sisters; three grandchildren and many great grandchildren.  John is predeceased by his daughter, Lisa Taliceo.

John’s funeral will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee Falls at 9 am, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church on Broadway in Chicopee Falls at 10 am. His burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 8:30 am to 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MSPCA, 171 Union St., Springfield, MA 01105.
