Jose A. Ortiz, Jr. 83, of Holyoke, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Regal Care at Holyoke.  He was born on February 12, 1942 in Comerio, Puerto Rico and was the son of the late Jose A. Ortiz, Sr and Virginia (Quiles) Ortiz.  Jose was a radio announcer at Reventor Radio Station 104.9.  He won many awards for his participation in the community and devotion in serving others. Besides his parents, Jose is predeceased by a son, Jose Ortiz, Jr. He is survived by his daughters, Netanya Ortiz and her husband, Jason Cintron of Chicopee and Carmen Taylor Ortiz from Connecticut..  Calling hours are on Friday, March 14^th from 10 to 11:30 am at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 61 Grape St. in Chicopee, with a service at the funeral home at 11:30 am. Burial at Forestdale Cemetery West, 210 Rock Valley Rd. in Holyoke.
