EASTHAMPTON      Joyce L. (Smith) Morin, 89, of Easthampton, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026 at home.  She was born on October 5, 1936, in Newburgh, New York, and was the daughter of the late Sterling and Mary V. (Van Inwegen) Smith.  She was a retired LPN at the former Chicopee Municipal Home.  Joyce was a devoted wife, wonderful friend, and a mother.  Her greatest joys were spending time with her family.  She will be immensely missed by everyone. Joyce is survived by her son, Michael Morin and his wife, Carol; daughters, Linda M. Henley and Donna Rimondi and her husband, Michael; daughter-in-law, Manon Morin; sisters-in-law, Inson “Susie” Smith, Stella Presnal, and Margaret Morin; and brother-in-law, Tommy Morin and his wife, Mary.  She also leaves seven grandchildren: Jeremy, Michael, Christopher, Scott, Craig, Jennifer and Kiersten; and seven great-grandchildren: Anthony, Lexi, Collin, Sophia, MacKenzie, John and Julia.  Besides her parents, Joyce is predeceased by her husband, Jerome; her son, Jerome “Jerry” Morin; and her brother, Richard S. Smith.  A committal service will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 9 am at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cooley Dickenson Hospice Care, 168 Industrial Dr. Northampton, MA 01060.
