CHICOPEE    Karen M. (Topor) Benoit, 76, was called back home on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Quabbin Valley Healthcare in Athol. She was born on October 15, 1949, in Holyoke and was the beloved daughter of Norma N. (Couture) Topor and the late Theodore M. Topor. Karen dedicated nearly thirty years of her life as a respiratory therapist and later served as a hospice aide. She was predeceased by her father, Theodore M. Topor; her husband, Stephen P. Benoit; and her brother, Kenneth Topor. Karen is survived by her mother, Norma Topor, of Athol; her son, Michael Benoit, and his wife, Breanna, of Belchertown; her brother, Kevin Topor, and his wife, Constance, of Chicopee; her sister, Kathryn Ricardi, of Belchertown; and her three cherished grandchildren, Domenick, Gabrielle, and Benjamin. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. A service will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam.
