Kathleen L. (Smith) Salvador, 71, of Chicopee, passed away with her family by her side on October 28, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. Kathleen was born on July 7, 1947 in Springfield and was the daughter of the late Frank H. Smith and Anna Marie (Stirlacci) Timothy. She was a sales clerk at Baystate Rug in Chicopee for over twenty years. Kathy enjoyed bowling, loved spending time with her grandkids and making Sunday dinners for her family. She is survived by her children, Wayne Whitlock and his wife, Keri of Springfield, Kimberly Whitlock and her husband, Steve of Rock Hill, SC, Steven Whitlock and his wife, Shelly of Conroe, TX and Maximino “Max” A. Salvador and his wife, Mellissa of Chicopee; her brothers and sisters, Bonnie Theberge of Springfield, Sandra Duval of Southwick, Michael Smith of Springfield, Robin Timothy of FL, John Timothy of CA and Jo-Ellen Sarage of Springfield; twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a longtime friend, Brian Smith of Chicopee. She is predeceased by her brother, Frank “Snuffy” Smith. Calling hours are on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 9-11 am at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home, 69 East St. in Chicopee Falls with a service at the funeral home at 11 am.
