Linda M. Olszewski, 57, of Chicopee, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 after a short battle with cancer. She was born on August 18, 1964 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Linda was the daughter of the late Richard and Irene (Szulgit) Olszewski. She was a graduate of Wells High School in Wells, Maine and Holyoke Community College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Linda retired from the Arbors For Kids in East Longmeadow. She was a great lover of animals, enjoyed music, art and gardening, which were her passions. She is survived by her longtime companion, Timothy J. Carroll of Chicopee and his children, Melissa Viens (Nick) and Ronald Cierpial (Brenda); her sister, Jane Gurnsey of Maine, her brother, Mark Olszewski of New Hampshire and another sister, Karen Olszewski of Nantucket, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Calling hours are on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 4 to 7 pm at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee Falls. Her burial will be on Friday at Hope Cemetery in Kennebunk, Maine, with a service at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dakin Humane Society, P.O.
