Lisa Lynn (Plant) Scott, 56, of Monson, died on January 1, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Lisa was born in Springfield on August 23, 1960 to Louis G. Plant and Germaine M. (Parent) Plant. She worked at Digital Equipment Corporation in Westfield, MA, Unisource in Connecticut and lastly at Baysate Medical Center in Springfield. Lisa most recently worked as an operations associate in Baystate Medical Center in the neurology unit. She was a member of the Sunshine Club and organized unit events in times of celebration and to ensure condolences were sent during times of loss. She was affectionately called the Mama Bear, making sure everyone of the unit was taken care of. In June, Lisa was awarded the Operations Associate Excellence award at Baystate Medical Center. She married Gary Scott on August 1, 1981; they were married for thirty five years. Lisa and Gary are well known for taking their trips to Vermont to search for various treasures. Lisa doted on her fur babies, Nina and Millie; she enjoyed spending time outdoors and gardening. Besides her husband, Gary, she is survived by her siblings, Elaine M. Cooper of St. Petersburg, FL; Joanna Fowler of Titusville, FL, Linda L. Belliveau of Chicopee, MA and Stephen D. Plant of Windsor, CT. Lisa had many wonderful friends where ever she went. Kay, Diane, Bobby, Eddie, Joan, Megan, Becky, Alison, Jamie and that is the very short list. Everybody adored Lisa, and her loving personality will be missed by many. Lisa is predeceased by her siblings, Paula L. Plant and George G. Plant. Her husband would like to thank her co-workers at Baystate Medical Center for all their love and support. Calling hours for Lisa are on Sunday, January 8th from 2 to 5 pm at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee Falls.
