Lucette T. (Boivin) LaFleur, 96, formerly of Chicopee, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 with family by her side.  She was born on October 14, 1928 in Chicopee and was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Dora (Gelinas) Boivin.  Lucette was a legal secretary in the office of the former Mayor Edward A. Lysek.  Besides her parents, Lucette is predeceased by her husband, Bernard I. LaFleur, her son, Gary B. LaFleur and her sister, Audrey Dowd.  Lucette is survived by her daughter, Doreen Lapan and her husband, Roy of Southampton, her daughter-in-law, Cathie Long of Frankfort, KY and four grandchildren, Lindsay Lapan, Aubin Whitaker and her husband, Craig, Alyssa Marcucci and her husband, Nathan, and James LaFleur and his wife, Sheila and seven great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee from 2 to 4 pm.
