Lynn M. Ryczek, 57, of Chicopee, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.  She was born on January 9, 1968 in Holyoke and was the daughter of Ronald E. and Jean M. (Gorski) Ryczek.  Lynn was a 1986 graduate of Chicopee High School, received her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Anna Maria College and was a licensed hairdresser. She worked as a billing clerk for Chicopee Electric Light. In her spare time, Lynn enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.  Lynn was the #1 fan at sporting events and school functions for all her nieces and nephews whom she cherished dearly.  Lynn’s concern for others was second to none, and if you were happy, then she was happy. Besides her parents, she is survived by her siblings, Tracey C. Ward of Chicopee, Ronald E. Ryczek and his wife, Sharon of Belchertown, Allen J. Ryczek and his wife, Nicole of Chicopee, and Michael T. Ryczek and his wife, Rosann of Agawam; her aunt, Claire Gorski of Chicopee and aunt, Mary Ryczek of Longmeadow and the late uncle, Eugene; 10 nephews and nieces: Ben Ward and his wife, Mariah, Grace Ward, Melanie Ward, Matthew Ryczek, Maggie Ryczek, Alex Ryczek, Jack Ryczek, Henry Ryczek, Fred Ryczek and Oscar Ryczek; a grandniece, Hazel Ward and many, many close friends that were with her throughout her life. She was like a sister to all that knew her.  Her family wishes to thank the nurses and medical staff for the exceptional support and care she received throughout her journey. Calling hours for Lynn will be on Friday, February 28th from 4 to 7 pm at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee.  A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 10 am at St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St. Chicopee.  Burial will be in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to D’Amour Center for Cancer Care, 3350 Main St., Springfield, MA 01107 or St. Joan of Arc School, 587 Grattan St., Chicopee, MA 01020.
