Marion K. (Mikulski) Anderson, 88, of Chicopee passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center with her daughter Katie by her side. She was born on May 19, 1933 in Chicopee and was the daughter of the late Julian and Anna (Szlosek) Mikulski. She was a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus and a graduate of Chicopee High School. Marion enjoyed swimming and many outings with “the Mermaids” at Elms College. She was a member of the Chicopee Falls Women’s Club and the Polish National Alliance. Marion now joins her high school sweetheart and husband, Harold E. Anderson. Together, they made a warm and loving home. Everyone was welcome and another place could always be set at the table. Marion enjoyed traveling and time with her family; most recently FaceTime with her great granddaughters, tiaras optional. She is survived by three daughters, Diane Todrin and her husband Donald of Northampton, Kathryn Gay and her husband Andrew of Springfield, and Jennifer Anderson and her husband William Dierken of Longmeadow; two sons, Carl Anderson of Granby, William Anderson and his wife Lena of Granby; also Lisabeth Paré of South Hadley and her sister, Rose Heston of Sacramento, CA; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Alpert (Christian), Aaron Todrin (Elizabeth), Erica Anderson, Evan Anderson, and Gary Dierken; two great grandchildren Lola Alpert and Andie Todrin; along with many nieces and nephews and extended family Aislinn Carrier and Daniel Lebron. Calling hour on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 9 to 10:30 am at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee Falls, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at the Basilica of St. Stanislaus at 11 am. Burial will be at a later date at the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Lorraine’s Soup Kitchen 170 Pendexter Ave. Chicopee, 01013.
