Mary T. (Kadzielawa) Walas, 91, of Chicopee, died on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Willimansett Center East. She was a retired supervisor at John R. Lyman Co. Mary was born on December 10, 1927 in Cwikow, Poland. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Honorata (Mastalerz) Kadzielawa. Mary was a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr, a member of the Rosary Society and the Polish National Alliance, Group 2873. She is survived by her son, Andrew Walas of Chicopee, a sister, Suzanna Prorok and her husband, Stanley of Chicopee and two grandchildren, Zachary Walas and his wife, Brittany and Brianna Walas. Mary is predeceased by her husband, Walter J. Walas, who died in 1973. The family would like to thank Baystate VNA and Hospice for their tender loving care. Calling hours are at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 61 Grape St. in Chicopee Center on Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 am, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at the Basilica of St. Stanislaus at 10 am.
