WALTHAM — Maureen R. (O’Sullivan) McGillicuddy, 90, of Waltham, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was born on October 28, 1935, in Boston, MA, and was the daughter of John and Beatrice (Cram) O’Sullivan. Maureen was a graduate of St. Labre School of Nursing. She is survived by a son, Joseph J. McGillicuddy and his wife, Beverly, of Peabody, and a daughter, Dr. Kim McGillicuddy Maciaszek and her husband, Dr. Andrew Maciaszek, of Chicopee; a sister, Eileen Mantovani of CO; and two grandchildren, Adam Maciaszek and Julia Maciaszek. She spent many happy years as the Occupational Health Nurse at Sears in Jamaica Plain. There she met a group of dear friends with whom she loved to travel and see musicals. She spent many hours with her son enjoying their mutual interests. She adored her two grandchildren and was instrumental in caring for them after the fire at their home in 2004.  Visitation will be on Monday, November 24, 2025, at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home, 61 Grape St. in Chicopee, from 9:30 to 10:30 am, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in the Basilica of St. Stanislaus, 566 Front St. in Chicopee, at 11 am. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Catholic Relief Services at crs.org.
