Nancy (Black) Rawle passed away on November 2, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center. Nancy grew up and lived in East Springfield her entire life. She was born on June 17, 1953, the daughter of the late Richard E. Black and Shirley (Gavoini) Black. Nancy lost her husband and soulmate Steve 3 years ago. She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Amy C. Lambert and her husband, Christopher. She also leaves her beloved grandson, Caden, whom she loved dearly, her sister-in-law, Darlene and her husband, Rodney Croteau of Spokane and two nieces and many close friends. She also leaves her two cats Olivia and Thomas whom she loved dearly. Nancy enjoyed shopping trips and lunch with her friends. She loved playing games with her grandson and having him sleepover and loved watching him play sports. She enjoyed spending time with her family most of all. Nancy will always be remembered as funny, loving and kind. She enjoyed the time she spent traveling with her husband and missed him greatly when he passed. She will be missed by her loving family. Calling hours will be held at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee Falls on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 5 to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Shelter, which she supported often at 627 Cottage St., Springfield, MA 01104.
