Normand D. Bachand, 83, of Holland, MA, died on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at his home. His entire 45 year career was at American Pad & Paper (AmPad) in Holyoke.  He was born on May 27, 1938 in Chicopee and was the son of Henry and Caroline (Bellerive) Bachand. Normand was an avid Montreal Canadians Hockey fan.  He loved fishing, hunting, being at the lake and spending time with his dog, named Joy. Normand is survived by  his wife of 64 years, Barbara (Sullivan) Bachand; three children,  Debra Hevey and Andrew of Chicopee, Donna Charette and Rik Viens of Chicopee and Douglas Bachand and Laura of Belchertown;  8 grandchildren, Randy, Thomas, Andrea, Keith, Michael, Melissa, Lauren, and Alex: 9 great grandchildren and a brother-in-law, Jean Robillard.
