Patricia A. (Arment) Niemiec, 82, of East Longmeadow, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025 at home with her family by her side. She was born on February 5, 1943 in Springfield and was the daughter of the late Charles G. Arment, Sr. and Irene (Bernard) Arment. Patricia was employed by the former Artted Electronics and was a stocker at Big Lots. She enjoyed camping, crafting and painting. Patricia loved traveling and motorcycle rides. Besides her parents, Patricia is predeceased by her brother, Robert, sisters, Joyce Babineau, Gloria Babcock and Eleanor “Dolly” Babcock. Patricia is survived by her husband of sixty five years, Theodore Niemiec; four sons, Theodore Niemiec III and his wife, Jacqueline “Jackie” of Hampden, David and his wife, Joanne of Springfield, Robert and his wife, Kellie of Chicopee and Edward and his wife, Pamela of South Hadley; a brother Charles G. Arment, Jr. of East Longmeadow; fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. The Niemiec family would like to thank Beacon Hospice for all the care given to Patricia. Calling hours will be on Monday, December 1st at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home, 69 East St. in Chicopee from 5 to 7 pm. Patricia’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd at 10 .am, at the funeral home, with a service at 11 am. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
