Phyllis E. Sliwa (Wojcik) 80, entered into eternal life on March 30th 2016 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Phyllis was born to Kasimer and Catherine (Bozyk) Wojcik on February 1st 1936 in Chicopee. She is preceded in death by her brother Alfred Wojcik and her husband Theodore Sliwa.
Phyllis’ compassionate soul led her to work as a CNA for Willimansett Nursing Home for years. However her main focus was always her daughters. She was selfless and lived her life to be close to them and her son-in-laws. She also enjoyed gardening and liked to relax working on her crossword puzzles.
Phyllis touched the lives of so many. Her spirit was so strong that even death will not diminish it. For her children there are no words to express the loss of their mother and their hearts will ache until they are all reunited again.
She is survived by her devoted family, Lynn Maziarz and her husband Stanley Jr., Katherine Slater, Joanne Maynard and her husband Michael all from Chicopee. All services were private.
