AGAWAM      Richard Arthur Bourdeau Sr., 85, of Agawam, died on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Richard “Dick” was born in Burlington, VT on December 29, 1940 to the late Armos and Marion (Heath) Bourdeau. He grew up in Ludlow, MA but has been living in Agawam, MA for the past 46 years. Dick worked for 40 years at H.P. Hood in Agawam. Dick is survived by his daughters: Danielle Desormier and her husband, Jeffrey of Chicopee, and Wendy Tetrault and her husband, Joseph of Stafford Springs, CT; his grandchildren, Heather Tetrault and Benjamin Tetrault, his son Richard Bourdeau Jr. of Florida; his brothers Armos Bourdeau, Jr and his wife, Louise of Ludlow; his sister Anne Bourdeau of Longmeadow and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife, Denise (Gauthier) Bourdeau in 2018, and son Derek Bourdeau in 1995, and former wife, Georgiana (Falconer) Bourdeau in 2020.  Visitation for Dick will be Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee from 10am to 12pm with a service at 11:30am.  His burial will be private.
