Sandra was born in Springfield and was a lifelong resident of the city.  She was surrounded by her loved ones at the time of her passing. She was brave and courageous in her last illness.

She leaves her son David Russo of Springfield and her son John Russo and his wife Kimberly of East Granby, CT.  She leaves her brother Robert and his wife Patricia Ward of South Boston, her brother Gary and his wife Cynthia Hackett of Southwick, her sister Shirley and her husband Deiby Garcia of Chicopee. She leaves her grandchildren Nathan and Mackenzie and her nieces Rita, Leah, Nina and Kristen and nephews Christopher and Robert as well as great-nieces Nadia and Kailey and great-nephews Anthony, Eli, Mychael and Noah.  She also leaves her long-time companion Daniel Magee of Springfield. Sandra was predeceased by her parents Ilario and Ann, her sister Louise Merchant of East Longmeadow and her brother John Clark of Springfield.

She had a kind, caring heart and loved her family and her pets.  She will be greatly missed by her family.  May her memory reside forever in our hearts.

A wake will be held at the funeral home.  Burial and and committal services will take place at Hillcrest Park Cemetery in Springfield, MA.
