Sandra M. (Smith) Dudek, 86, of Chicopee, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Chicopee Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.  She was born on August 6, 1939 in Springfield and was the daughter of the late William and Camilla (Jajesnica) Smith.  Sandra was a thirty-seven year clerk at Big Y.  She was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church.  Besides her parents, Sandra is predeceased by her husband. Chester Dudek and her son, Glen Dudek.  Sandra is survived by a sister, Cynthia Sayre and husband, Francis of Granville, her former daughter-in-law, Kimberley Slachetka and dear friends, Janet and David Larkin of Chicopee. Visitation will be held at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home at 61 Grape St. in Chicopee on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.  A Liturgy of Christian Burial will follow at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 56 St. Anthony St. in Chicopee at 11am.  Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 536 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
