Stanislawa (Janicki) Cienki, 86, of Chicopee, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was born on February 2, 1939 in Poland and was the daughter of the late Stephan and Albina (Brosilwa) Janicki.  Stanislawa was employed in Environmental Services at Holyoke Hospital. She loved being with her grandkids and great grandson. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Jan Cienki, daughter, Janina Cienki and her brother, Joseph Janicki. Stanislawa is survived by her daughter, Christine Asarese and her husband, Philip of Chicopee; siblings, Constanty Janicki and his wife, Maria of Holyoke, Alfreda DaFonseca and her husband, Joseph of Holyoke and John Janicki and his wife, Frances of Holyoke; grandchildren, Matthew Sullivan and his wife, Stephanie, Alicia Asarese and Michael Asarese and his girlfriend, Sophia Mercieri; great grandson, Aiden Sullivan and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are on Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 4 to 7 pm at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home, 69 East St. in Chicopee.  Stanislawa’s funeral will be held on Friday, December 5th, 10 am at the funeral home, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St. in Chicopee at 11 am.  Burial will take place at a later date in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.
