Alexis R. Hernandez, 32, of Chicopee, died on Monday, October 24, 2016 at home. She was born on March 11, 1984 in Springfield. Alexis was a 2002 graduate of Chicopee High School and currently in the nursing program at Holyoke Community College. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Ariana Beaulieu. Besides her daughter, she is survived by her mother, Sonia Colon of South Hadley; father, Marcus Hernandez and his wife, Wanda of Springfield; her fiancé, Jeffery Beaulieu of Chicopee; her sister, Sarita Sheehan and her husband, Michael of Springfield; two brothers, Marcus Hernandez, Jr. of Springfield and Joshua Smith and his wife, Amanda of Wilbraham; her maternal grandmother, Carmen Soto Colon of Las Vegas, NV. Alexis is also survived by two aunts, Sandra Rodriquez and her husband, Eli and Rebecca Perez and her husband, Freddy and two uncles, Jose Hernandez and his wife, Yolanda and Angel Hernandez, several nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends. She is predeceased by her aunt, Eva Colon. Alexis was a sweet, kind, hard working person and doting aunt. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee Falls at 10 am, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St. in Chicopee at 11 am. Her burial will be in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery.
