BELCHERTOWN Ann Freeland Buczek, 82, of Belchertown, died on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Elaine Center at Hadley. She was a retired clerical and food service worker at the former Belchertown State School for many years, retiring in 1991. Ann was born on March 11, 1933 in Southbridge, lived in Enfield, CT for many years and resided in Belchertown for the past twenty five years. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Inez (Crump) Freeland. Ann was a 1951 honors graduate of Mary E. Wells High School in Southbridge and a member of the National Honor Society. She enjoyed dancing and playing cards.

Ann is predeceased by her husband, John J. Buczek. She is survived by a son, David Lamoureux and his wife, Marietta, of Allenstown, NH; a daughter, Sheila Lamoureux of Rockville, CT; two stepsons, Peter Buczek and his wife, Susan of Florida and Joseph Buczek and his wife, Judy, also of Florida; a stepdaughter, Erika Blanchette of South Hadley, fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A calling hour for Ann will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home, 69 East St. in Chicopee Falls from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
