Anthony J. Rovelli, 56, of Chicopee, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at home.  He was born on November 20, 1966 in Holyoke and was the son of Mary Lou (Pétit) Rovelli Kresge and Richard C. Rovelli. Anthony was a graduate of Chicopee High School and the National School of Aeronautics in Utica, NY. Tony resided in Florida for many years. He was employed by S & S Structural Systems, Secure Construction, Kevin Brown Construction, Rovelli Construction and recently at Yankee Candle Manufacturing Co.  Tony was a very loving, giving, compassionate person, hard working with a great sense of humor, who was always there for his family, and he loved the Lord. He was a history buff and loved music.  In recent years he played the piano, guitar, and drums. Tony was a man of all trades, he could fix just about anything. Tony is survived by his parents, Mary Lou Rovelli Kresge of South Hadley, his father, Richard C. Rovelli and his wife, Sherrie of Springfield; his daughter, Crystal Rovelli of Springfield, his son, Tyler Dunn of Frankfurt, Kentucky; his fiancé Angela Cole of Chicopee; a sister, Carla M. Rovelli-Grace of Chicopee, brothers, Keith Rovelli and his wife, Christina Ogg of South Hadley, Michael Rovelli of South Hadley, Kurt Kresge of Chicopee and Nicholas J. Korniotes of Chicopee, a brother-in-law, Robert W. Grace of Chicopee; a grandchild, Carmello Rovelli and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Anthony is predeceased by his stepfather, Emmett Samuel Kresge. Calling hours for Tony are on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 4 to 7 pm at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee with a funeral home service at 6:00 pm.  Burial will be on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 11 am in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Chicopee.
