Christoper P. Parent, 53, of West Palm Beach, FL passed away on February 1, 2022. He was born on July 4, 1968 in Holyoke, MA and was the son of Napoleon F. and Barbara K. (Gibb) Parent. Chris was a graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School. He was a welder, heavy crane operator, and iron worker. Chris enjoyed fishing and his motorcycle. Besides his parents, Chris is survived by his two brothers, Daniel Parent of Springfield and Jason Parent and his wife, Laurie of Blandford, MA; a sister, Michele Stich and her husband, John of Ellwood City, PA; uncles and aunts, Bruce and Darla Gibb of Chicopee and George and Joan Parent of South Hadley, an aunt, Elaine Parent of Springfield; an uncle, Dennis Pearl of Chicopee, two nieces, a nephew and many cousins and friends. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 14th at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Chicopee at 11 am. A memorial will be held on Sunday, May 15th at Jericho, 537 Northampton St. in Holyoke from 2 to 6 pm.
